In order to cope with the positive development in the area of new projects and the resulting volume, another fully automated 1,000 ton transfer press was put into operation in February 2016.
With this extension of the presses at ERNST Umformtechnik, the company will be able to map its entire existing product range of the company headquarters as well as at the China site.
In addition to the building up of the press capacity, the areas of deburring and the cleansing of components have been developed simultaneously.
Similarly, tool manufacturing, personnel as well as machinery will be further aligned to the new circumstances.
